Waste!

And today's award for Waste Of A Perfectly Cool Domain Name goes to...

Red.com

What a great domain name. What a waste of it. A quick whois shows that this awesome domain name belongs to the folks who brought you yet another wasted (and less centered) domain name, redcode.com. Well, at least I can still get bluecode.com for $24,000.00.

Game of the Day

Cribbage is alright, because it generally involves snacking, and I'm a big fan of snacking. In fact, if someone were to ask me, "What's your favorite thing about Cribbage?" I would say, "The Snacking." The other good part about cribbage is that you can cheat by saying, "Fifteen-two, fifteen-four, and a pair is ... TWELVE" when it's not really 12, but is actually a much smaller, less inviting number. I don't actually know that number because I'm *always* trying to cheat and Michael just pegs the correct (read: boring) points anyway. (But sometimes when you cheat you end up trying to give yourself less because you're just not paying attention. Also, don't use 19 because apparently that is a dead giveaway) But I digress!

That said, card games are generally alright, because I'm an ok shuffler and I like that someone else can't see what your holding. And there's the snacking. However, I have found a card game that I'm absolutely dying to try. I think this is the card game to end all card games, actually. Read about it in all of it's cool glory here. (If you don't get the game, it doesn't matter. Check out the playing cards.)

Ah, America!

G5s or GIs? Buy Heinz-Kerry Ketchup or new W Ketchup the *American* Ketchup? Obviously, you should choose the more politically charged ketchup, since Heinz doesn't have a beautiful Left vs. Right Ketchup debate (with brain-terminal style responses) on its website, the choice is clear.

The more you know...

I just figured something out. My last relationship failed because he held his phone up to his left ear. I knew it wasn't my fault. It never is.

Flash Game of the Day, LE

If you're going to sit around and watch something load, it might as well be a game with a cool name like Penguin Blood Ninja Fiasco, right?

Asian Sensitivity

Asian Culture Education lesson of the day:

Reading Assignment

Talking points:

1. Do you think that Asian people really birth animals of other species? Why or why not?

2. If all software was $18, would that be capitalistic or communistic?

3. Assess the statement "It beats the hell out of a tubby man in a butterfly costume." How much would you pay to see Ayric in a butterfly costume?

Thank you God...

...that I am not a hippie!
