Good times

So, I'm no Rob Cockerham but on occasion I come up with some fun stuff. Today, my boss Dan kept complaining that something smelled like old food. He wandered about every hour or so going, what did you do, what did you put in my office, what smells? etc. etc. So, I decided there needed to be a source for this smell, somewhere. The idea fell into place with the help of our mad designer, Robert, some cutting, pasting, and diversion. Here's a jpg of what we made and printed out for Dan. It looks alarmingly realistic when actually constructed. Feel free to make your own in photoshop!

Flash Game of the Day, LE

The Invisibility Game involves clicking two buttons - go and stop. The trick is that you can't see your cursor, and you can't touch the walls. How in tune with your mouse are you? Quick little coffee break diversion with a slight frustration factor.

You've always wondered...

...and now you can know. Leave it blank and click the button if you're particularily chaste, or something.

Web toy of the day!

I am stir'd beyond bearing with your furious agitations within me, gorged and cramm'd, even to surfeit!

Vix, this one's for you. Thanks to Kat.

Political Fun

Here is a fun little flash animation where Bush and Kerry duke it out musical-style to a parody of Woodie Guthrie's 'This Land is Your Land' It pokes equal fun at both candidates without being too horribly offensive. A good way to break the ice between you and your politically-different friends.

Flash Game of the Day

Proximity is a great game based on my favorite warfare style grid, a tesselation of hexagons. The object of the game is to take over territory in a Go fashion. However, each tile is numbered. Placing a number next to tiles of your own number increases the values of the tiles around it. Placing a number that is higher than the opponents converts those tiles to your cause. Challenging and addicting with many different options for game play. "Come on, I need a 20!" factor: 4/5

Elftor

Here is a fun little cartoon called Elftor. It's done entirely in MSPaint, yet impressively so! I found it to be witty and fun, but decidedly not anti-Semite!
